When assessing a supplier, one question is more pertinent than another: instead of focusing on amount of supply, a person would be better off considering the breadth of the supplier’s list of products. If a take-off is prepared and it contains items such as carbon steel pipe, chrome moly fittings, duplex flanges, exchanger tube, valve trim bar and some rare fittings, then all missing items will cause a second supplier, second certification program and second delivery. This piping supply capability page sets out the span acrosspipes and tubes andpipe fittings and flanges, and where the practical limits sit.

Where a project calls up NORSOK, a Shell DEP lineage document or an operator's own material standard, send it with the enquiry so the offer is made against it.
What Is Not Claimed on This Page
Deliberately absent, because it has not been confirmed: stock held, warehouse locations, lead times, tonnage, approvals and vendor registrations, management system certifications, years in operation, client names and project references. Where those exist they belong on thestock list, certifications, approved vendor registrations, clients andprojects undertaken pages.
Lead time is confirmed at quotation, against the actual grade, size and quantity.
Supply Capability FAQ
Which standards can material be supplied against?
ASTM, ASME, API, MSS and EN material and dimensional standards, with EN 10204 certification, plus NACE MR0175 and ISO 15156 for sour service.
Can one supplier cover a whole mixed line list?
That is the point of the range. Every gap in a list becomes a second supplier, a second certification package and a second delivery to coordinate.
Why does seamless pipe have a size limit?
Above a certain diameter seamless production is not practical, so large bore is rolled and welded from plate. The limit arrives earliest in alloy, stainless and duplex.
What usually sets the delivery date on a mixed order?
A single odd alloy item. On chrome moly, duplex and nickel items the constraint is availability in that exact grade and size rather than tonnage.
Are lead times published?
No. Lead time is confirmed at quotation against the actual grade, size and quantity, because publishing a general figure would be misleading.
Is stock held?
No stock claim is made on this page because it has not been confirmed. Ask directly if stock position affects your decision.
Request a Quotation
Send the complete take-off rather than the easy part of it. The odd items are the ones that set the date, and identifying them early is the difference between one coordinated delivery and three uncoordinated ones.
